Clinica Web electronic queue module

Electronic queue for the clinic — on a regular TV

Patients see their number, room and doctor, and hear a voice invitation. The doctor calls from Clinica Web — the board updates instantly.

  • Smart TV or a monitor with a browser

Less chaos in the corridor

The queue becomes clear without constant questions at reception

The number is visible from a distance, the room is on the screen, and the call is spoken in the clinic’s language.

A calm waiting hall

Patients do not crowd at the door or ask each other who is next.

Less load on reception

The screen already shows the room number, doctor, specialty and order of visits.

The doctor stays in the room

One click on “Call patient” in Clinica Web — and the number appears on every screen in the group.

Two screens — two scenarios

A hall board for the floor. A separate screen by the door.

Switch layouts and run a visual call simulation. All data below is demonstrational.

For the waiting hall

Everything needed on one large screen

  • Room number in a large typeface
  • Doctor photo, name and specialty
  • Who is in and up to three next numbers
  • Live time and date
  • Automatic rotation when there are more than six rooms

The prototype plays a short demo signal. In the real product a neural voice invitation follows the signal.

Patient journey

From ticket to room — four clear steps

The board does not replace the medical information system. It makes visible the queue the clinic already runs in Clinica Web.

  1. 01

    The patient gets a number

On the order slip or a separate ticket — the last three digits of the receipt or booking.

  2. 02

    Waits by the screen

Sees their number, doctor, room, time and waiting order — without patient names.

  3. 03

    The doctor taps “Call”

The command comes from the patient card in Clinica Web. Tapping again repeats the call.

  4. 04

    Screen and voice respond

Every TV in the group updates without a reload, a signal plays and the invitation is spoken.

Voice and localization

The board speaks the language of your clinic

The interface and neural voice invitation are set for the facility’s instance. Patients do not look for a language switcher on the TV.

A short signal plays before the phrase to catch the hall’s attention.

The queue looks like part of your clinic

Each facility gets its own logo, hall board colors and a warm premium palette for the room screen.

Works with Clinica Web, not beside it

Booking, the live queue, calling and ticket printing stay in the medical system. The TV only shows the current state to patients.

For the IT lead: what happens technically

Each clinic has its own address, language and connection to its Clinica Web database. The call event comes from the medical system and is sent to open screens in real time. The connection uses HTTPS.

No special kiosk

Launch the board in the TV browser

An administrator opens the clinic address, enters the room group number and turns on full screen. No separate TV app install is needed.

Clear for the patient

The board shows a short number, not the patient’s name

People match the last three digits with the ticket or order slip. The screen shows the number, time, doctor and room — without the patient’s surname.

Minute of silence01:00when it ends the screen automatically returns to the queue
Optional mode

A minute of silence — by your facility’s protocol

For selected instances, at 09:00 every connected screen shows a video or a one-minute countdown, then returns to the queue automatically.

The feature is enabled separately and is not required for every clinic.

Frequently asked questions

What to know before connecting

The answers below cover the TV board features that are already implemented.

Leave a request for the manager
What hardware does it run on?

On a regular TV or a monitor with a browser. Smart TVs are supported, including Samsung. No kiosk or special set-top box is required.

Do we need to install an app on the TV?

No. Open the clinic address in the browser, enter the group number, then switch to full screen.

Where does the data come from?

From Clinica Web: rooms, the doctor’s schedule, the queue and the call. The only manual input on the board is the group number at start.

How many rooms are visible on one screen?

Up to six at once. If there are more, the list rotates automatically every 10 seconds.

Can we use our logo and colors?

Yes. The logo, the hall board palette and the room screen palette are configured separately.

Is there a voice invitation?

Yes. First a short signal plays, then a phrase in the instance language. After the TV is turned on, the browser may need a first remote click to allow sound.

Is this a separate online booking system?

No. This is a client queue screen. Booking, the live queue, calling and ticket printing are done in Clinica Web.

Can one network run in different languages?

Yes. Each branch gets its own instance with its own interface and voice language.
